Dr. Jessica Beckstrom, DVM
Dr. Beckstrom grew up in Massachusetts where she earned her bachelor degree in neuroscience with a concentration in animal behavior from Wheaton College in 2013. After a two year hiatus, during which time she worked as a professional bird trainer at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and as the head of the avian training program at the Southwick’s Zoo, she pursued her degree in veterinary medicine. She graduated from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2019.
Following vet school, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson. She is very passionate about animal behavior and practicing low stress handling techniques with her patients. Other clinical interests include surgery, wound management, and pain management. She is currently working on becoming certified through the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.

Julie Moss, BSc. Hons. AdvCertVPhys, Dip.APhys
Julie Moss is a Canine Behaviour Practitioner, Veterinary Physiotherapist, TTouch Practitioner, and founder and owner of Canine Mind and Body Balance. She specializes in identifying underlying physical causes of behavior problems in dogs. Julie's own practice has found upwards of 80% of behavior cases over recent years have had an underlying musculoskeletal problem causing pain or dysfunction to the dog. Her skill and passion are helping people identify these has hidden causes so they can get the appropriate treatment.
